Only in this world can you be judged with every single bit of you that you can imagine. Your height: Who cares if you are short, since when is it a bad thing?? Your appearance: since when do you have to look like a model every time you walk out of your door?? Your personality (this is a big one): automatically if you are (for example) very musical, you are labeled an Orky-dork, a Band-o, or a wanna-be. Just because you like to be who you truly are inside, you are made fun of, bullied, and pushed into being like everybody else. That isn't okay...I know it's hard to go against the status quo, but you need to fight for your right to be yourself. It's not cool to be the one who ends up hurting other people because she has to in order not to get made fun of. Also, accept others as they are. Sure, they might (for example) love books. That gives you no right to call them a "Nerd" or a "Geek" or any other hurtful name. Think of how the other person might feel if you call them that name or if you leave them out of your group just because of their interests....I have a challenge for you. Go for a whole week without calling anyone a hurtful name and let people in your group that you normally wouldn't. I DARE YOU.

Okay, I need help here. I have some classmates who really don't care about learning or other people, so they constantly talk and disrespect the teacher. I need help with telling them to be quiet. I have tried just telling them to shut up and I am constantly shhhhing, the outcome depends on if the teacher is in the room or not. If she/he is in the room, I usually get dirty looks and people whisper about how stupid I am or something of that nature. If she/he isn't in the room, I get the most popular guy in there yelling at me to be quiet (so basically mocking me) then I usually glare at him, then he stares back at me (still mocking me) and it just turns out to be this staring contest. I'm usually the one who breaks because by that time the teacher is back in the room and trying to teach and I really don't want to offend him/her. Then we start all over the next day. I have tried researching it on google and such, but usually I get stupid answers like "Who cares about learning?" or "It's the teacher's job, not yours!" And then I get irritated and start ranting in my head. Or, you know...on my blog...PLEASE HELP IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE!!!!!

End Time Ministries

http://www.endtime.com/
This website is all about the end of the world.  Most of their information comes from the Bible, the rest, it seems, comes from their own imagination.  Try looking at it and help me decide, is it REAL or do you think most of it is RUBBISH?  That's right, I'm an American using the word rubbish, do you have a problem with that?? ;)

Favorite Movie/Book Character

Who is your favorite movie/book character of all time?  Mine would probably have to be Severus Snape from Harry Potter because he is mysterious until the end.  He protects Harry, but treats him like an equal or less in classes so nobody knows his relationship with Harry.  If you have not read/watched the Harry Potter series, you should, they are really good and probably my favorite book series of all time!

Why "the-river-severn"?

Hey guys, for my first post, I thought I'd explain to you why I named my blog's name is "the-river-severn".  Well, it all starts with a princess.  According to legend, Sabrina was the daughter of King Locrinus, who had two wives.  King Locrinus liked Sabrina and her mom better than his other wife, Guendolen and her son Madan, so, he set Guendolen and Madan aside, acknowledging only Sabrina and her mother.  Later, Guendolen raised an army against King Locrinus and defeated him in battle.  Guendolen then ordered Sabrina and her mother to be thrown into the river.  The river was then named "Sabrina" so Locrinus's betrayal of Guendolen would never be forgotten.  The name "Sabrina" was later translated to "Severn" in English.  According to legend, Sabrina still lives in the river as a river goddess or nymph.  I thought this was fitting because my name is Sabrina.
